- Rich - the MSD will work with the PETs using the IEEE port and suitabe
- (PET) cables.

- I'm pretty sure the 64K add-on board was a filed modification as I'm
- pretty sure I've seen instruction sheets for putting it in. Not
- accessible directly from basic but there was a disk with it where you
- could store info in the extra memory and get it back. Some commercial
- programs such as WordPro 4 plus took advantage of the extra memory as
- did a hacked version of Visicalc. I've never seen it but apparently
- there was an operating system or basic extension that let you access the
- extra memory readily.
-
- The spacemaker let you mount several commercial Eproms that were being
- used as program protection (ie like a dongle). Problem was that several
- programs had there EPROMs at the same memory location (say $9000). The
- Spacemaker plugged into the $9000 socket and you would switch (manually)
- between the different EPROMs depending what software you wanted to run.
- Some companies made their their EPROMs to fit at $A000.
